VetPD workshop - Foot Lameness and Podiatry




8-9 April 2020, Auckland. Two locations over two days.

This 2-day practical course run by VetPD has been developed for equine veterinarians who already have experience with lameness investigations and provides a critical review of the current thinking on foot conformation, trimming and shoeing options, combined with an update on foot and pastern conditions, diagnostic anaesthesia strategies and how to interpret distal limb nerve and joint block results.

All speakers/instructors are internationally renowned in the field of lameness diagnostics and farriery and spend a significant proportion of their clinical work investigating complex lameness cases. Speakers include: Steve O’Grady DVM, MRCVS & Farrier (USA); Andrew Parks MA, VetMB, Dipl.ACVS, MRCVS (American Specialist in Equine Surgery (USA); Frederik Pauwels DVM(Hons), CertVA, Dipl.ECVDI, Dipl.ACVS, NZ Registered Specialist in Equine Surgery, European Specialist in Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging & American Specialist in Veterinary Surgery (NZ).
